You have the power to change lives.

At Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House, we offer diverse volunteer opportunities that make a meaningful impact in our community. Whether you're passionate about food security, event planning, community events, or financial literacy, there's a role for you to contribute your time and skills:

  • Food Pantry Volunteer: Assist in our supermarket-style food pantry, providing essential support to individuals and families in need.
  • November Food Drive: Join us on the third Saturday in November to distribute food donations and support our efforts to combat food insecurity.
  • Pro Bono Carpenter: Help maintain and improve our facilities to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Pro Bono Event Planner for our Sweet Soul Evening Annual Event: Contribute your expertise to planning and organizing our signature fundraising event in May.
  • Pro Bono Plumber: Help maintain and improve our facilities to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Port Community Pride Day Event Support: Participate in various roles to help organize and execute community engagement events (date to be determined).
  • Financial Literacy Workshop Presenter: Share your knowledge and empower others by leading workshops that promote financial education and empowerment.

Volunteering at MFNH allows you to participate in our integrated service programs, which empower individuals and families to overcome challenges, reach their potential, and achieve their goals. Support our mission by volunteering today and making a lasting difference.

"If you have knowledge, let others light their candles with it."
