Integrated Community Services in Cambridge, MA
Our Mission
At Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House, Inc., we provide integrated services to individuals and families to empower them to overcome challenges, reach their potential and achieve their goals.
The Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House (MFNH) was incorporated in 1902 to support individuals and families in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and surrounding neighborhoods.
We Fulfill This Mission by Providing The Following Programming:
Community Advancement Program
The Community Advancement Program (CAP) at Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House is dedicated to uplifting our community and empowering residents. We provide essential educational support, critical resources, and vital information through dynamic initiatives to foster individual success and self-sufficiency. Our programs offer skill-building workshops, career readiness training, financial literacy classes, and mentorship opportunities. Investing in our residents strengthens the entire community, ensuring a brighter, more prosperous future.
Community Food Services
Our Community Food Services program annually supports over 6,000 individuals and families through our supermarket-style food pantry. This model empowers low- to moderate-income participants to choose their food items, ensuring a two-week supply of groceries twice a month. Our pantry is more than just a place to get food; it is a welcoming space where community members can find nutritious options, learn about healthy eating habits, and connect with additional resources and support. We address immediate nutritional needs while fostering community, resilience, and hope.
