Selvin L. Chambers III – Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of The Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House (MFNH), Selvin L. Chambers III provides strategic leadership in planning, advocacy, organizational management, fundraising, and community engagement. He is dedicated to strengthening community-based programs, fostering meaningful partnerships, and ensuring the effective allocation of resources to maximize MFNH’s impact.
Selvin is deeply passionate about community empowerment and works to develop programs that serve a broad spectrum of youth, families, and young adults. Since joining MFNH in April 2024, he has focused on expanding outreach efforts, enhancing organizational sustainability, and advancing initiatives that drive social change.
Before MFNH, Selvin served as Executive Director of LifeScene in Lynn, Massachusetts, where he led efforts to support youth and families through comprehensive community programs. His leadership experience includes key roles as Executive Director of The Food Project, Regional Executive Director of BUILD Boston, Regional Director of The Trustees of Reservations, the City of Boston’s Centers for Youth & Families, the City of Cambridge’s Department of Human Services Youth Programs, and City Year in multiple U.S. cities.
Selvin is a native of Cambridge and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Fitchburg State University and earned a certificate from the Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership at Boston University.
Dhara Dhruv, Marketing and Brand Associate

Dhara Dhruv is a seasoned marketing professional with over 4 years of experience spanning education, entertainment, and technology sectors. She has contributed her skills to prominent organizations like Disney+ and Ericsson, specializing in strategic marketing and brand management. Beyond her corporate achievements, Dhara is deeply involved in social causes.
Her journey in the non-profit sector began with teaching underprivileged children basic math and English in India. Currently, she volunteers her marketing expertise to support Justice Health Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting health equity. Dhara's dedication to professional growth is underscored by her Master’s degree in Marketing. Passionate about both marketing and making a positive social impact, Dhara continually seeks new ways to combine these passions for meaningful change.
Peter Fray-Witzer, Grants and Fundraising Manager

Growing up in the Boston area shaped his passion for community work, which he has carried through roles at 826 Boston, The Food Project, and other local nonprofits. With a background including everything from writing to organic farm work, Peter is passionate about mutual aid, creating social infrastructure, and sustainable living. In his spare time, Peter enjoys spending time outdoors, volunteering, and learning new art forms, most recently sewing and linocut printmaking.

Darlene Garcia, Administrative Assistant

Darlene is a proud Cambridge native, raised in The Port neighborhood, and deeply connected to the community she now serves. As the Administrative Assistant at Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House, she supports daily operations and assists staff across departments to ensure things run smoothly. Darlene is passionate about giving back and is excited to contribute to an organization that provides vital resources and opportunities to those in need—right in the city she calls home.

Phoebe Heyman, Food Pantry Manager

Phoebe Heyman joined the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House team in 2022. She is responsible for all food pantry operations including ordering and distribution, managing program data and reports, directing the work of volunteers and pantry staff, and collaborating with partner organizations to support the community’s food needs. Outside of work, she likes to read, practice yoga and spend time outdoors with her cat.
Sneha Harsh, Director of Advancement and Fundraising

Passionate about the power of people and community, Sneha enjoys storytelling and brings this approach into her professional work, creating authentic connections and meaningful donor experiences that inspire generosity. Her work across the U.S., India, Nepal, Japan, and Uganda has deepened her belief that philanthropy rooted in kindness and community can spark lasting change.
Abigail Ayala, Community Engagement Coordinator

Abigail Ayala is a community-centered professional with a background of food and beverage operations, Family support, and survivor advocacy. She has partnered with local organizations, managed busy service environments, and connected families to resources that strengthen community wellbeing. Outside of work, she is a Proud Mom of three kids and continues to invest in spaces where families feel support and seen.
Donnie Reed, Community Engagement Coordinator

Donnie Reed is the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Margaret Fuller House. A proud native of Dorchester, Massachusetts, Donnie brings an unwavering passion for people and community to his work, always committed to giving back to the neighborhoods that shaped him. He is the former Co-Founder of Team Austin, an AAU basketball program based in Dorchester, created to uplift and empower local youth through sports and mentorship. Donnie’s dedication to service deepened through his work in Human Services, beginning at Hope House Boston, an organization focused on addiction recovery and mental health support. In addition to his community work, Donnie is active in ministry at Western Avenue Baptist Church and is currently on the path toward ordination. He is also a twice-published author whose writing reflects his journey, faith, and commitment to transformation.

Alicia McCabe, Director of Strategic Programs and Operations

Alicia McCabe brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and community engagement to her role as Director of Strategic Programs and Operations at Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House. With over two decades of diverse experience—spanning work with unhoused populations, wooden boat building, culinary arts, nutrition education, and nonprofit leadership—she brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic insight to leadership development. As a longtime Cambridge resident, she is deeply committed to supporting her local community. In addition to her work at MFNH, Alicia is a certified leadership coach and DISC facilitator, a yoga teacher, and a potter.
