The Sweet Soul Evening is Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House’s signature annual fundraiser – a vibrant, joy-filled celebration of the soulful spirit and rich social fabric that defines our community. More than just an event, it is a movement, a gathering of hearts, hands, and voices united in the belief that every neighbor deserves dignity, opportunity, and belonging.
Each year, community leaders, partners, local businesses, and supporters come together for an unforgettable evening of live entertainment, soulful music, dancing, inspiring guest speakers, and prestigious community awards – all in support of the programs and operations that have made Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House a cornerstone of service for over 124 years.
Purpose
Every sponsorship, ticket purchased, every donation made, and every moment shared at the Sweet Soul Evening directly fuels the life-changing work happening every day at Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House. Proceeds support our dignified supermarket-style food pantry, which distributes over 40,000 pounds of food each month to more than 600 families; Community Engagement Support Services our workforce development programs, including SkillBuilders Academy, which empowers community members with the skills and confidence to build sustainable careers; and our community engagement initiatives that connect individuals, families and vulnerable neighbors to vital resources, networks, and opportunities.
This is not just a fundraiser – it is an investment in the future of our community.
