By · CommentsThe Margaret Fuller Neighborhood house is seeking a part-time Food Pantry Manager who will be responsible for the operations, maintenance and development of the food pantry. Duties include recruiting and overseeing volunteers and work-study students. He/she will also order food, supplies, organize intake of all clients, and monitor the pantry budget. Will maintain statistics and prepare quarterly and yearly written reports.
Position requirements: experience in working with diverse communities, excellent people skills, good organizational skills, the ability to work independently and learn quickly. Must have good computer skills: experience with databases (or ability to learn) and word processing. A flexible schedule is important and a car helpful. He/she must be able to lift 50 lbs.
This position is part-time 20 hours per week. Approximate schedule is:
- Wednesday 12:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- Thursday 11:30 pm – 5:30
- Friday 8:45 am – 12:15 pm
- Saturday 8:45 am – 12:15 pm
These hours may change somewhat according to needs of Pantry.
